This french / english python / gtk program for Linux and XO (OLPC) is a music software coming with a scales/chords catalog, displaying relations between scales/chords and pictures on how to play these on musical instruments like piano, clarinet, guitar, harmonica, recorder... It is possible to hear the scales and the chords. Simple ear training is available.
