My inspiration for this activity comes from Australian Aboriginal Art. DidgArt offers several drawing shapes which can easily be coloured, re-sized or rotated.
Drawings can be saved and retrieved at any time.

You'll observe that the shapes are slightly irregular and their repeated use produces more variation.
Click on a shape to "pick it up".
Click on a colour to change the colour.
Right click to rotate the shape.
The up and down arrows will change its size.
The left and right arrows will change the shape.
Tick or enter will cycle through the colours.
Click on the canvas to drop the shape on your picture - note that this cannot be undone.
The orange button is for saving and the blue button is for retrieving pictures. The numbers are picture numbers and can be changed by clicking on them. The pictures are saved in the saves subdirectory - for example, ~/Activities/DidgArt.activity/saves/3.png
