Hey, can you use a MIDI controller with this program? It'd be great to build synthesizers and play them on something other than the OLPC's tiny QWERTY board.

I like this activity because with it you can play around with all types of sound and frequency concepts. I translated it to portuguese, for which I had to learn, and found it all fascinating.
But I also agree, a way to export the synths created to use in the other tamtam activities would be a great plus.

TamTam Synth

The synthesis and composition of sounds is a cut above anything I've played with button tweakers. But the simple fact that the sounds are localized to the application makes them somewhat useless to me. Exporting the the midi or ogg would be immensely helpful.
